As the year comes to a close, we at Kindling Wedding Photography are feeling grateful and nostalgic as we look back on the beautiful weddings we have been fortunate enough to photograph. But there is one wedding that stands out in our minds as especially memorable – the last wedding of the year!
As photographers, we always approach each wedding with excitement and a sense of possibility. But this particular wedding was extra special because it marked the end of a year filled with love and joy. From the moment we arrived at the venue, we could feel the anticipation and excitement in the air. The bride and groom had chosen a stunning locations, The Madrid Theater, St. Agnes Catholic Church, Loose Park and they even took their crew to Johnny Kaws for a drink.
As we began photographing, we were struck by the candid moments unfolding before us. These were the types of genuine, spontaneous moments that we live for as wedding photographers. Not all couples love to be in front of the camera and we thrive in environments where the couple just wants us to be a fly on the wall and photograph the day as it unfolds.
But the magic didn't stop there. As the sun set and the reception got underway, the newlyweds took to the dance floor for their first dance. And as they twirled and laughed, it was as if the world around them had fallen away – they were completely in the moment, completely in love.
It was an honor to be a part of this beautiful, memorable day, and we feel grateful to have been able to capture these special moments for the bride and groom. Here's to many more beautiful weddings in the new year!
